Azzalure 2x 125 Unit Vial

Azzalure is a botulinum toxin that was designed specifically for aesthetic purposes that is MHRA (Medicines and Healthcare products Regulation Agency) and FDA (Food and Drug Administration) approved. It temporarily improves moderate to severe frown lines, or glabella lines (between the eyebrows) in adults under 65. As well as this, it can be used to treat lateral canthal lines (crow’s feet), and wrinkles or lines on the forehead. Azzalure is used when these lines have proven to have a serious psychological impact on an individual.

The active ingredient, botulinum toxin type A, is a neurotoxin that stops nerves releasing a chemical signal to muscle cells, preventing these muscles from receiving stimulation, and paralysing them. Azzalure is injected into the muscle above and between the eyebrows to cause a temporary paralysis that improves the appearance of glabella lines, which can appear smoother or even disappear altogether.

Results are noticeable two to three days after treatment, but generally maximum effects can take three weeks to show. This can last, on average, between three and six months, after which time the injections can be topped up, in order to create a continuous effect.
